Pinewood Derby!!
Start your engines, racers! It’s time for the Pack 73 Pinewood Derby, and we’re revving up for an action-packed day of speed, fun, and friendly competition. Whether you’re a Cub Scout or an Outlaw (friends and family joining the fun), this is your chance to put your car to the test and race for glory!
Pinewood Derby Workshop at The Farm!
Happy New Year Pack 73!!!
At this event the Scouts and Their Parents will work to cut and shape their Pinewood Derby Cars and Design Cars in 3D that will be Printed for them to receive at the Pinewood Derby.
-Jan 25th at The Farm
-9 AM - 11 AM Lions and Tigers
-12 PM - 2 PM Wolves and Bears
-3 PM - 5 PM Webelos and AOLs
Please bring your Pinewood Derby Cars you received at the Holiday Pack Meeting at LexLive. If you did not receive one, we will have your car there. Please bring extra tools if you have them / are willing to share. Because we will be working with tools, Parents must be present.
This should be a super fun event for all of the kids Looking forward to seeing there!!!!
This event will also serve as our Pack Meeting for January!!
Pack 73 Goes to the Movies!
Celebrate the holiday season with Cub Scout Pack 73 at the LexLive movie theater! This year’s holiday party is sure to be the perfect combination of holiday cheer, scout spirit, and family fun!
Greenfields Farm Pre-Thanksgiving Camporee!!

Pack 73, get ready for an out-of-this-world experience! Join us on Saturday, November 23rd, for an unforgettable camping adventure at Greenfields Farm (5660 Old Richmond Rd). This is a family-friendly event open to all scouts, parents, and siblings.
Salato Wildlife Education Center
Join us for a full day of adventure at the Salato Wildlife Education Center! Activities include fishing, animal exhibits, and a scenic hike. A delicious grilled cheese lunch will be provided for all attendees.
VA Hospital Drop Off

McKee Fall Adventure!

Tent Setup Event
This event is an opportunity for families to test their camping gear and practice setting up a tent! Pack leadership will be on hand to provide assistance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Get ready to sling into action for our next exciting pack meeting, featuring a pumpkin chunkin' extravaganza AND a chili cookoff! It’s going to be an afternoon full of food, fun, and flying pumpkins!
UK Football Scout Night
GO CATS!!! Let’s all get together for a UK Football game with the Bluegrass Council!
We’ll start off by “Tailgating” at assistant cubmaster Mark Zollers home and then walk to the stadium!

Lexington Legends Scout Night
Join all of the Bluegrass Council for an evening with the Lexington Legends!!
Tickets are a reduced price, scouts will get a unique patch, and food vouchers can be purchased in advance!
Pack 73 Creek Walk!!
We’ll all meet for a fun walk through a beautiful creek and enjoy cooling off before summer comes to a close!!
Items to Bring:
First aid kit
Water
Snacks
Change of clothes for the ride home
Towel
Shoes that can get wet.
People cannot go bare footed because of the chance of glass or metal.

Why: To Help Fund our Pack Activities!!! This is our only fundraiser for the year, and asking for support at Kroger Store Fronts is a SUPER EASY way to help our Pack raise the funds we need for the 60 scouts we’ll have in the pack!
Last year with 41 scouts we sold over $50k in Popcorn!! This year let’s see if we can hit $60k! The Pack will receive 30% of the contributions!!!
Outdoor Movie Night
Bring your lawn chairs and your movie snacks!!!! We’ll be watching Despicable Me 4 underneath the stars to kick off the 2024-2025 Cub Scouting Season!!! Can’t wait to see you there!!!
